Everything you need to know about the Alex Pereira Vs. Magomed Ankalaev fight ahead of UFC 313

UFC 313 is tomorrow, March 8, 2025, at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. There is a lot of coverage, with 12 matchups scheduled. However, one matchup is making the headlines everyone wants to see: Alex Pereria vs. Magomed Ankalaev.

Pereria, the Brazilian three-time title defender and runner-up for Fighter Of The Year 2024, is very potent in his strikes. Yet, he is a calculated and focused competitor. The light heavyweight champ is putting everything online in the Octagon, which could make or break for the kickboxer.

Magomed, a bonafide striker, is ready to prove his greatness. He has been unbeaten in his last 13 fights. A few matches last year against fighters such as Aleksandar Rakic solidified him as a top competitor in the light heavyweight division. The usually soft-spoken fighter has been amped for this matchup, with his opinions fueling the fire for tomorrow’s headliner.

The fighters have traded numerous spats and disses over the last couple of weeks. Pereria questioned Magomed being a devout Muslim. He claims he witnessed Magomed eating during Ramadan. On the other side of the coin, Magomed called Pereria a “chicken” and is only being protected by Dana White.

Whatever the hollering ensuing, the two will have the chance tomorrow to talk this Saturday. Make sure you’ll watch the matchup on ESPN+. It’s scheduled to start at 6:30 PM (ET), but the Main Card—Alex Pereria vs. Magomed Ankalaev—will happen at 10 PM ET. So, make sure to stay tuned and let us know who you want to win!
