Carlos Efren Reyes, known as Farruko  was born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico in 1991. In his teenage years he began to post music to MySpace. He quickly gained internet fame. At 18 he released his first album “El Talento del Bloque” at 18, which was huge. He followed it up with “The Most Powerful Rookie” in 2012, this album showed a different side to his music and was more pop oriented. In 2014, he released “Farruko Presenta los Menores.” This album had some major names on it, most notably J. Balvin. This helped propel him into the mainstream when it comes to Reggaeton artists. The album topped the Latin Albums chart and led to him winning many awards, like Premios Juventud and Latin Grammy Awards.
