G-Bo The Pro is an influential American DJ. Growing up in New York, Pro grew up living within the New York hip hop scene, and was later introduced to DJing by his older brother at age 10.

Pro’s professional career began in his early 20s when he started creating mixtapes. It was around that time he met fellow DJ and later music partner Double R. Double R acted as a mentor for Pro, and helped him grow into his skills. Eventually the two men became a powerful team, running the underground hip hop scene with their tapes. Similar to radio, the duo were able to inform their listeners on what was popular on the street. Pro became a influential part of the early 90’s New York hip hop community.

In addition to making mixtapes Pro learned new skills for better artist collaborations, leaning into beat making and producing.
