Gianna Brielle Perez aka Gigi Perez is an American singer-songwriter and YouTuber. Born in New Jersey, Perez moved to West Palm Beach, Florida, where she was raised.

Perez grew an interest in music while she was young, began writing songs at age 15, and even joined the band Wendy Lane while in high school. Following graduation, Perez studied at Berklee College of Music until the COVID-19 pandemic, when she lost her older sister.

Amidst her grief, Perez began uploading videos and songs on her TikTok account, which eventually led to her going viral in 2021 thanks to the song Celene, named after her sister. The attention led to Interscope Records signing her on, which led Perez to release her first single The Man in June 2022. A short time later, Perez gained the opportunity to support Coldplay on their Music of the Spheres World Tour.

Later that year, she released two singles When She Smiles and Glue.  Perez continued to support more artists on their tours the following year, including Noah Cyrus and D4vd. Perez’s first EP, How to Catch a Falling Knifer, was released in April 2023.  

Perez left Interscope Records in early 2024 and released two songs, Normalcy and Please Be Rude, on TikTok. In July, she released the single Sailor Song, which went viral and even peaked at No. 22 on the Billboard Hot 100. Soon after, she signed to Island Records.

Currently, Perez is set to release her self-produced debut album At The Beach, In Every Life late April 2025.
