Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein Comes to Theaters

Yes, you have read that correctly!  For one week only, beginning today on Jan. 16, 2026, and continuing through the week, the smash hit of Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein comes to theaters for a limited time. Releasing in select theaters starting today, on Jan. 16, 2026, you can buy your tickets now and see the film on the silver screen!

Originally released on the streaming service, Netflix on Nov. 7, 2025, and to select theaters on Oct. 17, 2025, the film, Frankenstein, quickly grew in popularity and became a massive success.  While only making a small earning at the box office of 500,000 dollars, the film fortunately earned an impressive success on the streaming platform, Netflix, reaching a reported 29 million views in the first three days of its initial release.

Starring the talents of Oscar Issac as the title character of Victor Frankenstein and Jacob Elordi as the monster, the film is widely praised and enjoyed for the two performances of the leading actors.  Delivering a dark and brooding performance of Victor Frankenstein, which offsets the somber and haunting performance of the monster, Issac and Elordi both showcase gripping, powerful, and inspiring performances that serve as the heart of the film.

Playing for a limited time only, Frankenstein is a must-see film that tells the story of heartbreak and compassion between creature and man.  For this week only, go see Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein in theaters!
