Everyone who knows the folk artist Hozier, loves him. With three studio albums and 22 singles, fans just can’t seem to get enough of the intensity yet calmness of his tunes. As he grows in popularity, the charm he has becomes more apparent every day.
Three weeks after Hozier’s big-hit song “Too Sweet” made its debut, it became No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100 song chart. Released in March of this year, it still to this day is trending. Usually, people will grow tired of overplayed songs, but that isn’t the case for “Too Sweet”. People are still belching the lyrics to this upbeat piece of Hozier’s.
The three albums this artist holds are Hozier (2014), Wasteland, Baby! (2019), and Unreal Unearth: Unheard (2023). The genius is known for his poetic lyricism within each song and the melodic words he sings. For example, one of his well-known songs, “Work Song” is one of Hozier’s most captivating pieces. It expresses vulnerability and the rawest, realest form of love a man can have for a woman. In the main chorus, the artist sings, “When my time comes around / Lay me gently in the cold, dark earth / No grave can hold my body down / I’ll crawl home to her.” Beautifully written, it explains how he believes his love for this girl is so strong, that even when he passes over, he will have the strength to crawl out of his grave and back to her.
One of the main reasons fans love Hozier is because of his realness and openness. He is very true to himself which allows his audience to feel everything he is feeling through his music.

As his tour continues, we can only hope for more music in the future. At the rate Hozier is moving, it is looking positive. His songs are inspiring and truly a blessing for all who listen.
