Jace Lavoer Salter, aka Iayze / Jace!, is an American rapper, record producer, and audio engineer. Born in Fort Worth, Texas, Salter had a talent for music at a young age but only began showcasing his music on YouTube after a friend convinced him to. Slater began uploading at age 13 on the TGE Duwap channel, but it wasn’t until 2021 that he began taking his music seriously.

Salter saw his single “C’mere” go viral on YouTube and TikTok which helped the success of the following mixtapes and EPs he released. He saw another boost in fame after appearing on the SoundCLoud Daze mixtape of the late rapper PnB Rock in 2022. His song 556 (Green Tip) went viral shortly after on TikTok. The song helped cement him as a fixture within the Underground scene.
