In recent days, tension has arisen between the American people following the recent death of a woman, Renee Nicole Good, at the hands of ICE Immigration. Sparking shock, anger, and fear among American Citizens, many people are growing agitated and enraged towards the Trump Administration for ordering the mass deportation of people and families.
Due to the rising concern of ICE Immigration and mass deportation, many data and sources have emerged that connect 16 shootings to ICE officers under the Trump Administration. According to data conducted by the Trace, a total of 16 shootings occurred during ICE raids and arrests during President Trump’s second term in office. Between July 2025 and January 2026, it has been revealed that of the 16 shootings, both at people and vehicles, seven people have been injured, while four people sadly lost their lives.
Due to the global outrage following the death of Renee Nicole Good in Minneapolis on January 7, 2026, more and more people are voicing their opinions following the ICE raids and mass deportation. Citing how shocking, heartbreaking, and inhumane the practices of raiding and deporting under the Trump Administration are, many Americans call for the end of ICE in America. Famously vocalizing his views and opinions on the ICE raids, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey spoke on behalf of the city of Minneapolis that highlights the rise of anger and shock on ICE raids commenting how they can, “Get the f*ck out of our city”.
