Less than two hours before his concert at Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, he canceled his performance. Timberlake says he sustained an injury that would cause him to miss the event.
He took to Instagram, posting the following statement: “I’m so sorry to postpone tonight’s show. I have an injury that is preventing me from performing. I’m so disappointed to not see you all – but I’m working to reschedule ASAP. I promise to make it up to you and give you the show ya’ll deserve. “Thank you guys for understanding. Appreciate your support always- JT”.
He did not speak any further on the matter, nor did he disclose what the injury was or how it happened. New Jersey fans will eventually get their concert, according to the post yet it may not be for some time.
JT is in the middle of his ‘Justin Timberlake: The Forget Tomorrow World Tour’, the tour sees him performing through 2025 with little to no days off.
His next three shows are 10/11 in Philadelphia, 10/13 in DC, and 10/17 in Toronto.
