Jazz Chisholm Jr. is a Bahamian professional baseball player. Born in Nassau, Bahamas, Chisholm discovered a love for baseball at a young age thanks to his grandmother. Chisholm continued to develop his skills in baseball throughout his childhood. By the time he graduated high school, Chisholm began to train for a professional sports career at a sports academy in the Bahamas.

 

Chisholm debut as an international free agent in 2016 with the Arizona Diamondbacks until 2018 where he was traded to the Miami Marlins, and made his MLB debut in 2020. During his time with both teams, he came into his own as a second baseman and center fielder. Additionally, it was his versatility and dynamic play style that gained him attention from all across the industry.

 

Eventually, despite multiple injuries, Chisholm was traded to the New York Yankees in exchange for three prospects in late July 2024.
