Jessy Terrero is an influential Dominican film and music video director. Born in the Dominican Republic, Terrero’s first steps into the film industry were as an extra on the Tupac Shakur-led film Juice in 1992. Eventually, that experience led Terrero to direct his first student film, which gained him an internship on the set of the film I Like It Like That.

Terrero began to capture public interest directing music videos from popular Hip Hop and Latin artists starting in 2000. Some of those artists include 50 Cent, Jennifer Lopez, Enrique Iglesias, Daddy Yankee,  Jill Scott, Lionel Richie, Syleena Johnson,Wisin y Yandeland more. His lengthy history directing within the music scene has made him synonymous with the Latin and urban music subgenres. Altogether, the viewership on the music videos he has directed has amassed over 21 billion views.

Outside of the music industry, Terrero has directed ten movies, six television episodes, and produced even more.
