Jessy Terrero is an influential Dominican-American film-maker and music video director. Born in the Dominican Republic, Terrero’s first step into the industry was through a associate producer internship on the set of Darnell Martin’s I Like It Like That. Eventually Terrero made his directorial debut with the film Soul Plane, featuring Kevin Hart and Sofia Vergara,
Terrero followed up with Brooklyn to Manhattan in 2010 and Freelancers two years later. Shortly after that Terrero ventured in to music videos, founding the production house Cinema Giants in 2014. There he directed the Netflix Nicky Jam bio-series Nicky Jam: El Ganador and content for YouTube Originals.
That said, Terrero is most well known for his music videos. In his 20-year long career, he has directed for a plethora of popular artists including Jill Scott, 50 Cent, Wisin y Yandel, Daddy Yankee, Lionel Richie, Syleena Johnson, Ludacris, Akon, Enrique Iglesias, Sean Paul, Aventura, and more.
