Carolina Giraldo Navarro, aka Karol G, is a well known Colombian reggaeton singer-songwriter. Born in Medellín, Colombia, Karol began her developing her music talents at a young age, appearing on El Factor X and posting song covers on YouTube.

Eventually Karol was able to sign on her first contract with the Colombian record studio Flamingo Records. There she began releasing singles, opened for Don Omar and even performed alongside J Balvin at a quinceañera.

As the years progressed, Karol grew dissatisfied with the slow pace of her career in South America, she moved to New York to live with her aunt and eventually reignited her passion for music, leading to her signing on with Universal Music Latino.

Karol continued to release singles, until her collaboration with Bad Bunny  on the song Ahora Me Llama became a breakout hit, gaining over one billion views on YouTube. This success led her to release her debut studio album, Unstoppable, a few months later.

Karol went on to release other studio albums, winning over the ears of audiences and collecting six Latin Grammy Awards, one Grammy Award, five Billboard Music Awards, and many more. With over three million albums sold globally, Karol is one of the most popular Reaggeaton artists in the past decade.
