This left the Falcons with placing Kirk as a backup quarterback, which makes the contract feel like it was a huge waste of money. Kirk is too expensive to keep around, so they need to find a way to trade his contract to someone else. It would save them a ton of money and could provide them with a late-round swap. The Cleveland Browns seem to be interested in the trade, but the contract is once again becoming a nuisance for the Falcons.
