Lionel Messi injured as Inter Miami loses 6-0 to Al Nassr

The injured soccer mega-star Lionel Messi and the rest of the Inter Miami played against the Saudi Arabian team Al Nassr, only to lose 6-0. After experiencing discomfort playing against another Saudi Arabian team Al Hilal, and during a training session, Messi was not included in the original lineup and was not expected to play. He also underwent an MRI, as per USA Today.

However, Mr. Messi was eventually added to the lineup but spent most of his time on the bench as a substitute until he entered the game in the 86th minute. Messi played a good game despite his injuries, and the crowd erupted with joy when he stepped onto the field. However, it was apparent that his injuries had a slight impact on his performance, as evidenced by a shot attempt in the penalty box that was swiftly diverted by an Al Nassr player. Messi did minimal running, mostly engaging in a light jog, and focused on dribbling, passing, and occasional kicks.

Fellow soccer mega-star and Al Nassr player Cristiano Ronaldo was supposed to be playing as well but unfortunately didn’t due to him suffering a calf injury. Nevertheless, Mr. Ronaldo was happy with the win as Al Nassr was able to score three goals in just the first 12 minutes of the match.

Al Nassr’s Mohamad Moran, Ayameric Laporte, Talisca, and Octavio made goals while their goalie David Ospina was injured along with Inter Miami’s Luis Suarez. The game was held in the Kingdom Arena, in the Riyadh Season Cup in Saudi Arabia, as per USA Today.
