Lordkez is a rising South African singer-songwriter. Born in South Africa, grew up in the city of Kimberley where she cultivated her music talents at a young age through her church, learning how to play the organ and in choir.  

She’d then move to Abu Dhabi later in her youth. Her time in both cities allowed her to experience wildly different cultures that affected her tastes in music. She’d return to South Africa for her school at SAE in Cape Town, where she studied sound engineering. There she would make connections with Stay Low and Stein Entertainment heads Vaugn Thiel and Fred Kayembe.

Lordkez began her professional career in 2019 with the release of her Extended Play Revenge Season. Her music style, which is effectively a fusion of Trap, Soul RnB, and electronic drew attention across the world. She continued to release EPs, collaborating with other notable African artists before releasing her debut 2023 album TESTAMENT.
