Latin Artist of the Month for November 2025
Luis Damon is a Puerto Rican American singer-songwriter. Born in New York City, Damon debuted on the music scene in 1996 with his first album, Solo, in partnership with the record label Warner Music Latina. The album was a success, earning him a nomination for Best New Male artist at the coveted Premio Lo Nuestro awards.
Damon released his second album, Para Estar Contigo, two years later in 1998, which resulted in a cross-country bus tour within the United States. Following the bus tour, Damon joined the music group Son By 4, where he performed throughout the U.S. and internationally. Damon stayed with Son By 4 for two years before leaving to continue his solo career in the NY area.
As a solo artist, Damon continued collaborating with various artists, including Javier Montes, Guadalupe Garcia and more. Damon continues to release music and promote the growth of the Latin music genre.
