Manuel Turizo Zapata is a popular Colombian singer-songwriter. Born in Montería, Colombia, Turizo had an interest in music from an early age, first starting with guitar but soon transitioning to primarily developing his vocal talent and songwriting.

Turizo would officially begin his music career with the release of two self-released singles, Baila Conmigo and Vámonos” in 2016. These, alongside his 2017 single Una Lady Como Tú, helped him amass significant popularity across Latin America. Turizo made his first Billboard chart entry a year later, with the collaborative single Vaina Loca with Ozuna. By 2019, Turizo had released his debut album ADN, which featured collaborations with multiple artists, including Zion & Lennox, Noriel, Ozuna, Darell, Nicky Jam, Sech, and Anuel AA. This album cemented Turizo’s status as a globally renowned Latin artist.

By 2025, Turizo has sold over 360,000 albums worldwide and won a number awards including the Billboard Latin Music Awards for Global 200 Latin Song of the Year, Airplay Song of the Year, Tropical Song of the Year, iHeartRadio Music Award for Best New Artist (Latin Pop/Urban), and much more.
