Mario Dedivanovic is a popular Albanian American make-up artist. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Dedivanovic developed a passion for makeup after working as a fragrance consultant at Sephora in the Flatiron District in Manhattan. His first gig as a makeup artist was creating the makeup for the cabaret show of two singers he met while working at Sephora.

Dedivanovic continued to find freelance gigs until he landed the role as a regional makeup artist for Lorac Cosmetics. After a short time with the brand, Dedivanovic went back to freelancing, working backstage for events like the Miss USA and Miss Universe beauty pageant until he found luck with celebrity clients like Gina Gershon and Natasha Bedingfield.

Dedivanovic grew to love working with them, and soon after that, he found his big break when he met Kim Kardashian in 2008 at the last minute. Quickly after that, Dedivanovic struck a fast work relationship with Kim, becoming her go-to makeup artist, with her even flying him out to do her makeup for the Keeping Up with the Kardashions TV series. Eventually, Dedivanovic began to get recognized after he uploaded a makeup tutorial on YouTube, leading to the creation of the Makeup by Mario brand.
