MAVI is an up and coming American rapper.  He grew up in Charlotte and is currently a student at Howard University.  Although he is currently studying to be a neuroscientist by majoring in biology and minoring in psychology, he has gained much popularity for his rap songs. He released 13 songs in 2019 that are deeply rooted in his emotions and thoughts. 

This project, Let the Sun Talk, is more than just rap music.  Through his music, MAVI is also an advocate for the black community.  He wishes to provide better resources and education to communities in hopes that kids can learn from each other and enact change.
