Growing up in between London and the Bronx, underground rapper MIKE, who is now based only in the Bronx, reflects the mundanity of city life through hazy, soul-sampling, experimental rap. Inspired by the likes of King Krule, and MF Doom, MIKE has released a steady flow of solid mixtapes, making a name for himself with his musings on mental health, resistance and black identity. His last realese, entitled Disco!, was his best yet with even beter work yet to come.
