Nathan John Feuerstein, also known musically as NF, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter. Born in Gladwin, Michigan, Feuerstein had a rough upbringing and used music, particularly hip-hop, as an escape. One of his first songs, which he released the same year he graduated from high school, was dedicated to his mothe,r who fatally overdosed on opioids that same year.

Feuerstein made his major step in his music career a year later, when he independently released his debut studio album Moments under his own name. He continued releasing singles and EPs, generating enough interest to attract record labels like Xist Music.

Eventually, he would sign on with Capitol Christian Music Group and release his breakout self-titled EP in 2014. The EP managed to chart at the No. 12 spot on Billboard’s Christian Albums chart, and at No. 4 on their Top Gospel Albums. Feuerstein saw further success with his first studio album, released the next year with Capitol Christian Music Group.

NF has managed to generate a wide amount of commercial success; his music can be heard in many media outlets and TV shows, including ESPN, Showtime, VH1, Chicago P.D., Grimm, and more.
