No One Wants To Fight For Israel

“No one wants to fight for Israel!” Those are the now-famously stated words by Brian McGinnis, a former U.S. Marine Corps sergeant and Green Party Senate candidate at the Senate Armed Services subcommittee hearing.  And I couldn’t have said it better myself.  Protesting the involvement of the United States for the Senate Armed Services subcommittee hearing on March 4, 2026, McGinnis vocalized not only his opinion but also voiced many opinions for the United States people when he said, “No one wants to fight for Israel!”

And what does he get for voicing his belief?  Forcibly removed by the police and by Senator Tim Sheehy.  Which, might I add, was completely unnecessary.  McGinnis was not posing a threat to anyone in the room when he voiced his opinion and explained how the American people do not want to go to war for something they do not believe in.  However, he was forcibly removed as if he was threatening bodily harm or creating a disturbing disruption that threatened the lives of people.

Recorded and now posted across many social media platforms, the removal of the former U.S. Marine Corps sergeant is going viral for the graphic and shocking nature of his removal.  To summarize the video, while being forced out by officers, McGinnis’s arm was accidentally caught in a door, and instead of carefully freeing him, the police just kept pulling and pulling him until a crowd of people in the room informed them his arm was caught.  In the aftermath, McGinnis alleged that his arm was broken due to the action, but he was instead charged with resisting arrest and assaulting a police officer on top of that.

And to say that I am shocked would be a lie… Disappointed, yes, but not shocked really. If the U.S. Government can do this to one of the veterans, then that is really telling of the politics and beliefs that govern our nation…. Every day, seemingly gets harder and harder to say that I am an American Citizen really.
