Our Top 2025 Super Bowl Commercials

Super Bowl Sunday ended at 40-22 with a massive Eagles win. American families gathered with relatives and tasty snacks right in front of the TV. Using the football game as convenient bathroom breaks for the real entertainment of the night, the commercials, we at NYC Tastemakers picked the top five commercials that stole the show.

1. Nike

Besides the NFL’s commercial, Nike showcased a powerful message for women and girls everywhere, with the motto “You can’t win. So win.” This was Nike’s first Super Bowl commercial in 27 years, and it features prominent athletes such as Caitlyn Clark, A’ja Wilson, Sha’Carri Richardson, Sabrina Ionescu, Sophia Wilson, JuJu Watkins, Alexia Putellas and Aryna Sabalenka, with artist Doechii narrating the advertisement.

2. Ritz

Embracing their salty side are Aubrey Plaza, Bad Bunny, and Michael Shannon, who starred in Ritz’s first super bowl commercial. We couldn’t have a better actress to play the “human version of Monday” than Aubrey Plaza. Plaza’s morbidly dry humor and stoic personality played well into Ritz’s message of being the “saltiest.” This was also Plaza’s first major appearance since the death of her husband on Jan. 3. We send our condolences to Plaza, and we were glad to see her shining once again.

3. Coors Light

Let’s slow things down sloth-style with the Coors Light commercial. Kind of like that one scene from Zootopia where all the DMV workers are sloths; Coors Light highlighted the “slow Monday” after the Super Bowl with sloths working, grocery shopping, taking a cycle class, mowing the lawn, cooking, reporting a ‘slow speed chase’ and more. Coors Light is here to help your case of the Mondays get a little more chill. This humorous commercial had watchers of all ages stifling a giggle.

4. Pringles

This commercial was a little silly, but it won people’s hearts. We’re not really sure why both Pringles and Little Caesars decided to have facial hair as the main protagonist of their commercial, but it was entertaining, to say the least. Who could’ve expected a flock of mustaches in a Pringles commercial?

5. On and Letters of the Day

Now, who doesn’t love sassy Elmo? Tennis legend Roger Federer starred alongside global superstar Elmo from Sesame Street to promote the athletic shoe and performance sportswear brand On. With Elmo’s persistence in saying that the brand logo looks more like a “Q” than of an “O,” he brought his signature sass and charm to the campaign, making this a feel-good moment for all of us to enjoy.
