Pat McGrath is an influential British make-up artist. Born in Northampton England in 1971, McGrath grew up with an eye for fashion thanks to her mother’s work as a dress maker. Eventually, following years of developing her artistic skills, McGrath took her first step in the fashion world working on shoots for the youth i-D magazine in the 1990s.

Since then, McGrath skyrocketed in prominence and is now one of the most influential make0up artists in the world. McGrath has collaborated with many popular beauty and fashion brands, making the looks for runway shows for Prada, Miu Miu, Dior, Burberry, Givenchy, Gucci, Lanvin, Louis Vuitton, Versace, Maison Margiela, Yohji Yamamoto, Valentino, Bottega Veneta, Balenciaga, Calvin Klein, Loewe, and more.

McGrath is also a frequent partner with editorials such as Vogue. Some of her most notable achievements include becoming the first make-up artist to achieve The Council of Fashion Designers of America Founder’s Award and the 2017 British Fashion Council 2017 Award for Fashion Creators.
