Patricia Ann McGrath is a British make-up artist. Born in Northampton, England, McGrath began her makeup career while working with designers such as Alexander McQueen and John Galliano, and with Edward Enninful at i-D magazine in the 1990s.

An opportunity to collaborate with Giorgio Armani on cosmetics in 1999 helped push her skills up in the industry. Eventually, she would find herself employed as Global Cosmetic Creative Design Director for Procter & Gamble for several years.

Eventually, she would launch her own line named Pat McGrath Labs, the brand that young people go on to do well, leading her to be hired as Beauty Editor-at-Large for British Vogue.

Vogue magazine has named her as one of the most influential make-up artists of all time, and she has even become the first make-up artist to be named Dame Commander of the British Empire.
