ShaSimone, the British-Ghanaian singer-rapper, has made remarkable strides in the music industry over the past two years. With a career that took off during the lockdown, she has quickly become a notable presence in the music scene. Born Shauna Yeboah, ShaSimone’s journey into music began with a strong foundation in poetry and a love for the art of Tupac Shakur. Her initial foray into rapping came through BlackBerry Messenger (BBM), where she and her friends exchanged voice notes of their rap verses.
