Artist of the Month for October 2025
Tate Rosner McRae is a Canadian dancer and singer-songwriter. Born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, McRae developed a talent at a variety of artistic skills at a young age including dancing and singing. Following a brief but eventful time as a professional dancer, McRae began transitioning into her music career, uploading original songs on her YouTube channel.
Her first hit single, One Day, amassed over 40 million views and helped attract attention of fans and eyes from the music industry. Eventually she signed on with RCA Records and released three singles Tear Myself Apart, All My Friends Are Fake and Stupid. A year later she would include these singles in her debut EP All the Things I Never Said, in 2020.
The EP was a success and McRae would eventually go out on her first sold out tour for that EP. Two years later, she would release her first album titled I Used to Think I Could Fly. The album debuted at number 52 in the Billboard Hot 100 and reached the top 10 in various european countries including, Ireland, Norway, and even Canada.
McRae continued to find global success with her second and third albums. Currently, McRae is one of the most popular newer artists in the current pop scene. With over 5 million subscribers and millions of monthly listeners on spotify, her influence will continue to grow.
