Jaten Collin Dimsdale aka Teddy Swims, is an American singer and songwriter. Born in Conyers, Georgia, Dimsdale developed an interest in music thanks to his grandfather, who introduced him to soul music at a young age. During his school years, Swims performed in school theater, posted music reviews on his YouTube channel, and learn to play piano and the ukulele. 

Eventually, Swims entered the music scene under a variety of local genre bands from alternative rock, post-hardcore, soul, hair metal and more untill 2018. He began to perform under the stage name Swims in 2019, the same year he had the big break of performing as the opening act for Tyler Carter. In addition to his music, Swims became a well-known cover artist, posting popular covers of songs from  Michael Jackson, Lewis Capaldi, Chris Stapleton, Amy Winehouse, Journeys, H.E.R, Shania Twain, and more. 

Currently, Swims has published five EPs, and two studio albums. His Youtube channel has over 5 million subscribers, and his most popular video, Lose Control (live) has over 200 million views.
