Trump Backs Vote to Release Epstein Files

After years of the files being held by the government, the House of Representatives is set to finally approve a measure that will force the Justice Department to let the public see all of the records on Jeffrey Epstein. With the House looking like it has the momentum to get the records released, Donald Trump has shifted his stance from opposition to their release.

In a Truth Social post this last Sunday, Donald Trump wrote the following message: “We have nothing to hide, and it’s time to move on from this Democrat Hoax perpetrated by Radical Left Lunatics in order to deflect from the Great Success of the Republican Party,”.

The bill has been receiving bipartisan support and has been a hot topic for the public for some time. The American public has been waiting to see the files for several years now, with many believing they may be the key to revealing deep-rooted corruption in the American government, media, and financial industries.

Kentucky Representative, Thomas Massie, the sponsor of the bill that will get the files released, provided a statement to ABC News regarding the bill: “I think we could have a deluge of Republicans. There could be 100 or more. I’m hoping to get a veto-proof majority on this legislation when it comes up for a vote,”.

Trump and Epstein had some history between the two men. They used to be friends, but that ended shortly before Epstein was arrested for the first time. According to Trump, the friendship ended due to Epstein stealing young workers from him and acting in an unacceptable manner towards his friends and staff, calling him a creep.

With how long the files have been out of the public eye, it is uncertain whether the public will receive a copy of the original files or if they will receive the censored and restricted version of the files if this bill passes. Hopefully, this bill will be passed, and the files will finally be brought to light.
