Trump’s 100 Days Graded “F”

The day was January 20th, 2025. America up until that point had made their decision on the next president. There were cheers and tears for the second term of Trump. Many touted the win as a positive turning point for the future of the United States – as he was deemed the lesser of two evils. Promises of a better tomorrow were made in his speech to the adoration of his supporters. However, 100 days later after his inauguration – that sense of reverement has changed to disappointment and frustration. Why has this happened?

Polls conducted by Marist, PBS News, and NPR have found out that most US Adults have given Trump’s performance a failing grade. What’s crazy, is that this is not just from the votes of Democrats and Independents but it’s actually the majority of Americans disapproving of the president’s performance.

These poll results are in regard to President Trump’s recent controversies. Specifically, his handling of tariffs, economy, immigration, and grocery prices. 46% of Americans have also shown an unfavorable opinion of the DOGE. It’s clear that many were not expecting his execution of recent events.

In all honesty, his first term should have been a wakeup call to what type of timing Trump was on. But as the saying goes: those who do not read history, are doomed to repeat it. Many citizens have said that his practices are negatively affecting their life, with the inflation of prices and disrupting economic growth

The polls show a bleak outlook on the future of America. A timeline that some people are still deluded over even through these 100 days.
