Tyra Banks is Bringing Hot Ice Cream to New York

Tyra Banks, a famous supermodel and TV personality, has come out and announced that an expansion of one of her businesses will be opening soon in New York City, her ice cream shop named “SMiZE & DREAM”.

“SMiZE & DREAM” is an ice cream shop that breaks the conventions of ice cream by taking the frozen treat and turning it into a hot one. This new dessert was named “Hot Mama” and has been a talking point across the internet due to its unusual nature. It was described in a press release as, “It’s ice cream reimagined — churned, simmered, and perfected to be served warm and sippable, poured into a couture 3D cup, and finished with signature SMiZE flair,”.

The team behind “hot Mama” describes the dessert as “the liquid version of your favorite ice cream scoop,” they continue, “a culinary contradiction that shouldn’t make sense, but somehow, deliciously does.”. This contradiction in the tradition of ice cream has some consumers intrigued and others wary of the unfamiliar dish.

The ice cream store is expected to be selling its controversial non-custard in New York City this coming December. However, this is not expected to be a permanent location; instead, it is referred to as a “season activation”. It is to be expected that “Hot Mama” will be sold mostly in New York City, but it can potentially expand their sales further into the United States.

Personally, I am quite curious about this non-standard dish and wouldn’t pass up the opportunity to try one for myself if the opportunity arose. If you are as curious as I am, keep an eye out this coming December for the odd treat.
