Upcoming Shows in 2025 to Look Forward To

With Summer now in motion, it may be a good idea to look ahead to see what options are available for people to binge not only throughout the summer, but the rest of the year. Premiering on July 9, 2025, “South Park,” is returning with its 27th season. With the trailer showing a small view into what this new season may hold, fans remain anticipated for its release.

On Aug. 27, 2025, Marvel Animations will release a new animated series titled, “Eyes of Wakanda,” with a trailer having dropped earlier today, the four episode series seems to promise a new look into the history of the titular setting within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

“Alien: Earth,” will begin airing on Aug. 12, 2025 and based on its synopsis and trailer, it seems to follow the main protagonist who has been given a robotic body, as they contend with the unknown threat of alien Xenomorphs that have come to Earth from a crashed spacecraft. The series seems to promise a spectacle of action and horror that will make it worth watching.

The 2022 DC superhero show “Peacemaker,” will be receiving a second season, starting its run on Aug. 21, 2025, directed by James Gunn, known for the “Guardians of the Galaxy,” films. The second season seems to be picking up after where the first season left off, as it further explores Peacemaker and his life within the new status quo after the fallout of the first season.

“Stranger Things,” will be receiving the first part of its fifth season releasing on Nov. 26, 2025, and in two more parts later on in the year. This season seems to promise the epic conclusion of the “Stranger Things,” show as the action and horror seems to be cranked up to a whole new level for its final act.
