Why Boneless Chicken Is Better Than Regular Chicken

Chicken is a widely prolific food that many within the United States often tend to enjoy. With the sheer variety and its wide appeal, people may prefer one kind over the other. However, to me at least, it’s clear what kind of chicken is best and that is boneless.

First is the most obvious reason, mainly being that it’s more convenient. Whenever you’re eating wings, or any other form of chicken that contains bone, you can’t use any utensils to eat it. You can’t use a fork to stab into the chicken and lift it into your mouth as it just hits the hard bone, so you’re forced to use your hands, which in turn makes your fingers a sticky mess. Now I can’t speak for everyone, but I prefer to keep my hands clean while eating. There’s no need to get your hands messy and have to clean them up afterwards. Other foods you eat with your hands are fine, such as pizza for example, as you hold it by the crust and eat it. There’s no cleanup involved unlike with chicken. In my eyes, if holding food with your fingers will make a mess, you shouldn’t be eating it with your hands to begin with.

The other thing is that the bone is simply in the way. You have to navigate which parts are the actual meat you’re trying to eat, and which is the actual bone which you’re just going to throw away anyway. Boneless chicken solves all these problems however, as it’s way more convenient to eat, as you can just stick a fork in it and there’s no unnecessary mess that you must clean up.

Some may argue that chicken with the bone tends to have more flavor, but I feel that the versatility of boneless chicken can cover for that and then some. Boneless chicken can absorb a multitude of flavor and ingredients well and can be utilized in various methods of cooking and can also be prepared in ways that would be difficult with regular chicken.
