Why Movie Theater Popcorn Is Elite

When I propose the question of what is the best snack to have while at the movie theater, what is your answer?  Candy?  Chocolate?  Nachos?  Whatever your answer is to the question, I can guarantee it is wrong, and I am here to settle this debate for once and for all in one sentence.  Movie theater popcorn is elite.

And that is not a hyperbole. I am standing my ground when I say that the best snack to have while at the theater is popcorn.  Unlike other snacks, popcorn is not sticky like candy or chocolate, and since it is not sticky, your hands are not covered in the residue after you have finished the snack.  Rather, popcorn is a clean and simple snack that leaves your hands relatively clean, if not for an occasional and light dust of salt after you have finished eating it.

Also, it is just a staple for the movies.  When you go to think of the movies, I can guarantee that you most likely associate popcorn with going to the theater.  And why do you associate popcorn with movies?  Because pictures of popcorn are everywhere!  When you search up theaters, popcorn often shows up along with the movie search.  When you search up snacks, popcorn additionally shows up as a popular snack among people in America!

And, to insert my own biases into this article, as if I haven’t already included my own opinion, movie theater popcorn is really a nostalgic food for me in the theater. Even to this day, I remember being young with a handful of popcorn, staring up as the movie theater screen came to life right before my eyes.  Watching the magic of seeing a new film play out before me, popping occasional popcorn kernels just seemed right at that moment, and even now, the feeling carries to this day.  And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the hill I will die on.
