Will The Mets Make It Finally In The NL Card?

The Mets have been filled with fun energy recently, from the team to the fanbase. One of New York’s prestigious teams has had its ups and downs.

At one point, the Mets looked to be trending towards playoff hopes. That 1-8 run back in August was concerning but all appeared to be going decently until today’s rude awakening.

Last night, the New York Mets lost to the Miami Marlins, 4-0. A shame as the team was moving into an MLB Best 45-24 start.

Injuries, all-star depletions, and the needed but meaningless production from the youngsters proved to be the team’s end. This caused their offense and defense to be weakened.

Clay Homes hitting his career high in earnings wasn’t enough to steer them in the right direction. Basically making their playoff hopes null and void.

At least, the future of the New York Mets appears to be in good hands. If they can keep continuing their elite scouting reports… they’ll bounce back. Maybe a World Series Title is in the cards.

But as of right now, it’s clear that the team still has more work to do. Youngsters Nolan Mclean, Brandon Sproat and Jonah Tong are around for the foreseeable future. The timeline won’t be kind to injury-ridden Griffin Canning but time will be kind to the Mets once everything is in order.
