Sean “Diddy” Combs’ former assistant told the jury in his federal sex crimes trial that he physically, emotionally, and sexually abused her while she worked for him.
Combs was arrested in September 2024 and charged with sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution, but he has pleaded not guilty.
The woman testified under the pseudonym Mia that Combs threw objects at her, threw her against the wall, and sexually assaulted her, USA Today reported.
Her testimony came after a friend and stylist of Cassie Ventura Fine testified on May 28 in Combs’ federal trial. Ventura Fine’s friend, Deonte Nash, styled both Venture Fine and Combs and was Diddy’s former assistant between 2008 and 2018.
Nash said Combs tried to control all aspects of Ventura Fine’s life during their relationship, which lasted a decade long. Nash said Combs controlled her music, social circle, and more. Nash also testified that Combs threatened to repeatedly beat her and bash her head on a bed frame. Nash will finish his testimony today, May 29.
During Nash’s cross-examination, he corrected Comb’s lawyer for his use of Cassie’s maiden name, Ventura, to her married name, “Mrs. Fine.”
Earlier yesterday, on May 28, prosecutors brought up the question on whether Combs broke into another rapper’s, Kid Cudi, home and also a separate incident about Kid Cudi’s porsche explosion.
