John Summit is an American DJ, songwriter and producer who has been well known for hosting events, most particularly of which being his record label Experts Only, which was established to promote his works and the works of many others and on Sept 20, 2025, Experts Only will be coming to New York City.
Set to take place on Randall’s Island, New York, for two full days, it seems likely for this festival to be a massive hit, with I Love NY stating that “Experts Only Festival is anticipated to draw 50,000 enthusiastic fans across two days.” The event is set to have performances by many artists such as Summit himself, as well as many other artists such as Kaskade B2B Cassian, Kasablanca, Green Velvet B2B Layton Giordan, Roddy Lima, Pete Tong, Tini Gessler and so on with a total of 17 artists lined up.
The festival seems to also be in partnership with various other names such as Medium Rare, EMW, which stands for east meets west and Relentless beats. With collaborative work between such successful names, the Experts Only festival is looking to shape up as an event that you wouldn’t want to miss.
According to the Experts Only website, “John Summit’s desire for artistic freedom led him to launch his own record label brand, Experts Only. The label’s ethos of ‘music without limits’ reflects John’s refusal to be pigeonholed and his willingness to experiment with a variety of sounds and styles” and that “John is set to throw one-of-a-kind events in unique locations worldwide creating a community of like-minded artists and fans.” Experts Only seems to be a widely successful event that would further this goal, as gatherings such as this are great for people and artists to put themselves out there and to garner new inspiration.
