After the Trump administration has promised to release the Epstein files for a while, Trump has gone back and stated there wasn’t anything to be released in the first place, with Trump even referring to the whole ordeal as a hoax, which has made many question if there was more going on than what was being led to believe.
While many of his supporters and others began to criticize him, Trump lashed out on the social media site, Truth Social, stating that “Their new scam is what we will forever call the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax and my past supporters have bought into this ‘bullshit,’ hook, line and sinker.” He snapped online at his followers amid ranting on about his frustrations with the republican party.
He further went on to say “I have had more success in six months than perhaps any President in our Country’s history and all these people want to talk about, with strong prodding by the Fake News and the success starved Dems, is the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax. Let these weaklings continue forward and do the Democrats’ work, don’t even think about talking of our incredible and unprecedented success, because I don’t want their support anymore!”
Despite the FBI and Trump’s claims that there was no client list, many remain speculative of their claims, with many pointing out how it would be illogical for Epstein to commit suicide as they claim if there was a lack of evidence to convict him. Especially after the long period of time he voiced to be working towards the release of the files before going back on what he said to state that they didn’t exist to begin with.
