Although it will be tough for them to lose Clarkson, it could be their chance to open spots for younger players with potential. This buyout ultimately resulted in a $3.6 million deal for Clarkson to play for one year with the Knicks. This is a big win for the Knicks, who are looking to bolster their bench with people who have proven themselves valuable assets on the court.
