Born in Humacao, Puerto Rico and raised in New York City—the media capital of the world—I was first introduced to photography during my studies at Beach Channel High School. What began as an academic interest soon developed into a personal passion in my early twenties. At the same time, my professional path was leading me into the world of computers and technology, making the integration of digital innovation and visual artistry a natural evolution.

As digital technology advanced, so did my creative vision. Photography quickly transformed from a pastime into a lifelong passion. I became increasingly focused on exploring new perspectives through the lens of a digital camera, using the interplay of light, composition, and technology to create compelling and dynamic imagery. To further refine my craft, I returned to the classroom to formally enhance my technical skills and artistic foundation.

In the spring of 2009, after years of capturing and sharing images online, I was approached by a couple who asked me to photograph their wedding in Puerto Rico. That opportunity marked the official launch of WJD Photos, as well as my first destination wedding—an experience that solidified my commitment to professional photography.

Today, my growing portfolio includes weddings, engagements, maternity sessions, newborn photography, special events, landscapes, travel, professional headshots, real estate, and still-life imagery. As the sole photographer behind WJD Photos, every image featured in my portfolio has been personally captured by me. I take great pride in delivering authentic, high-quality work and in providing each client with personalized attention tailored to their unique vision and needs.
