Right before Hot Girl Summer comes up, we are going to see Hot Girl Broadway. The Savage herself, Megan Thee Stallion, will be making her Broadway debut this spring. I know we all Wanna Be in attendance, and no need to be a Cry Baby about it at all, because tickets are already available for sale to see a wonderful musical artist take on a new realm of entertainment. Megan will be backing her splash in the Broadway world in the production, Moulin Rouge! The Musical. She will perform as Zilder from March 24-May 17, an eight week engagement before the show’s final closing this July. Her starring as Zilder, which has been a traditionally male role, is a historical moment as well. This will be the first time that Zilder has been performed by a female in both Broadway’s history, and the entire production’s history worldwide. The character was previously known as Harold Zilder, but was changed to be just Zilder while Megan is in the production.
Moulin Rouge! The Musical is set to close its curtains on Broadway on July 26, 2026 after seven years of production. In order to boost its performance and box office sales, Megan was cast to gain attention prior to the production’s closing. Furthermore, the production has stated that Megan’s music may be added into the score, providing a hint of futuristic music into the performances. Casting Megan also allows the production to end on an extremely high note, and add a new sense of style into a show that has been popular among audiences for years.
In several interviews, Megan has shared her excitement to be a part of the production. She has made statements regarding her passion for expressing herself through creative means, and that being a part of theater allows her a new opportunity to explore her creativity. Though it is a completely different setting than what she is used to, and what we are used to seeing her in, there is no doubt she will be able to show us the performance of a lifetime.
Fans are already ecstatic about the upcoming performances, and ticket sales have been through the roof since the initial announcement. Tickets are around $200 to start as of now, March 2, 2026, and are selling out extremely fast.
This may have been our Plan B about what Megan Thee Stallion was going to do next, but we love to see her in What’s New. She has always been our favorite Hot Girl and we cannot wait to see her Rattle the Broadway stage!
