La Cage aux Folles Revival

Attention! Attention! Calling all theater lovers! For a limited time only, you can see a revival of one of the best plays ever made, La Cage aux Folles!

If you are unaware of the play, the story centers around a gay couple who run and operate a nightclub, featuring elaborate drag shows. However, when the son of the couple returns from college, wanting to marry a young woman, trouble soon follows as they learn the young lady has conservative parents. Wanting to put the happiness of their son first, the main characters try their best to pass off as “the perfect family”, with one of them dressing in drag as a woman to trick the conservative parents of the young woman.

And now it is coming back to theaters with an all-black cast! The big talents, Billy Porter and Wayne Brady, are set to star as the two main characters, Albin and Georges, who make up the couple — the emotional heart of the play.  And the supporting cast is sure to steal your hearts as well. Featuring the talents of Toyna Pinkins, Alaman Diadhiou, and James Jackson Jr, among many more, are just more reasons to see this show while you still can.

Set to run from June 17, 22026, through June 28, 2026, there is a limited time to see the new revival. Having a personal connection with the play, I just love everything about La Cage aux Folles. Finding the play accidentally and deciding to watch it casually, I instantly fell in love with the story and the characters. And I know more than ever that this new revival will capture not only my heart, but yours as well.
