Lawrence Liu is a New York City–based photographer, videographer, and creative director exploring the relationship between people, culture, movement, and place. Working across photography and moving image, his practice moves between documentary observation and abstract, surreal imagery, often transforming familiar subjects into unfamiliar visual experiences. Inspired by diverse cultures, human connection, and the evolving identity of the world, Liu uses composition, perspective, light, and atmosphere to explore emotion and perception.
