Video of the Month for November 2026

John Roger Stephens (born December 28, 1978), known professionally as John Legend, is an American singer, songwriter, pianist, and record producer. He began his musical career working behind the scenes for other artists, playing piano on Lauryn Hill’s “Everything Is Everything”, and performing as an uncredited backing vocalist on songs for Jay-Z and Alicia Keys. He was the first artist to sign with rapper Kanye West’s GOOD Music label, where he released his debut studio album, Get Lifted (2004).

Pharrell Lanscilo Williams (born April 5, 1973) is an American musician, singer, songwriter, record producer, and fashion designer. He initially became known as one half of the music production duo the Neptunes, which he established with Chad Hugo in 1992.  The two also formed the rock and hip-hop fusion band N.E.R.D. with Shay Haley in 1999, and since then he has been regarded as one of the most influential producers and people in modern popular music, fashion, and pop culture.

And now John Legend and Pharrell Williams are collaborating on John Legend’s newest album Muse, releasing October 23, 2026.  The album is fully produced and co-written by Pharrell Williams, marking the 20-year friendship the two artists have had.  On September 25, 2026, John Legend and Pharrell Williams released a music video for one of two singles released before the album, titled Fireflies, which serves as a beautifully told story of finding hope even in the darkest of times, showcased in a monochromatic black-and-white music video.
