Arlene Silver is a retired American makeup artist, actress, and producer. Born in New York, Silver moved to California to pursue a career in Hollywood. There she worked on film, television, music video sets, and live events.

 

She is most notable for acting on Days of Our Lives and as a makeup artist on the 2003 film Carolina. Her most notable relationship is with her husband, Mary Poppins star Dick Van Dyke, whom she first met while working at the 2006 Screen Actors Guild Awards.
