“bellyache” is the sixth track on Billie Elish’s first EP “don’t smile at me”. The song was written by Eilish and her brother Finneas O’Connell, who produces all of her songs. The song is one of her first to go viral and arguably the song that brought Eilish’s music to mainstream media.

The music video for bellyache was released March 22, 2017, and was directed by Miles & AJ. It features Eilish walking along a road in a desert, throwing money around, and dragging along a trash bag that seems to hold money. At the end of the video, Eilish comes face to face with a police officer eating a cake and staring at Eilish. The music video has amassed over 600 million views on youtube and almost 800 million streams on Spotify. 

Billie Eilish is the first woman and second artist overall to sweep the “big four” categories at the 2020 Grammys for Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best New Artist, as well as Best Pop Vocal Album.
