Bio

Born in San Antonio, Texas on May 3rd, 1951, Christopher Cross is a singer and composer who became one of the biggest stars of the 80s. He began his career in 1979 with a self-titled album and became the first artist in Grammy history to win five Grammy Awards, including the most prestigious Record of the Year (for the single Sailing), Album of the Year, Song of the Year (also for Sailing), and Best New Artist.

He has been in the music industry for over four decades and sold over a million albums, with a unique composing style that defined the 80s soft rock era. His music awarded him five Grammys, an Oscar, a Golden Globe, an Emmy nomination, and five Top 10 singles.

In 2007, he started his own music label. Since then, he has released 8 albums of new songs. His latest project was released in 2020, for the celebration of his 40th anniversary in the music industry. The Complete Works is a collection of all his previously released albums, one album of singles and b-sides, and a pink vinyl containing a special selection of tracks from each of his albums.
