Fatal Crash in NJ early yesterday morning

Passaic County police say that a car crash in Wayne on Tuesday morning turned out to be fatal. According to reports at least five vehicles were involved in this crash, two of them semi-trucks, and one car was completely flipped over.

The Wayne Police Department posted a traffic update at 7:53 a.m., warning drivers near Parish Drive, Maple Parish, and French Hill Road informing them they were closed.

The crash caused four lanes to be closed which resulted in massive traffic. As of 4:30 p.m. yesterday part of the road was still blocked off.

Wayne PD declined to disclose any further information and all of the inquiries from reporters were sent to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office. The Prosecutor’s Office has yet to comment on the situation.

As of now the investigation is still ongoing and no details on the victim(s) have been released.
