G-Bo The Pro (born in Spanish Harlem, New York City) is a pioneering American DJ, record producer, and mixtape innovator who became one of the most influential street-level tastemakers of 1990s hip-hop culture. Alongside his partner DJ Rei Double R, he helped shape the underground New York music scene by treating the mixtape medium as a high-fidelity art form before the advent of mainstream hip-hop radio and the internet.
